I had the pleasure of seeing a laserscope converted YAG laser in action for the first time in person last night. At the York Fair, a graphics/beam show was put on by an Indiana company and sponsored by Metzger Wickersham. It was a combination of old and some newer graphics, and a pair of fiber-fed beam satellites spitting out 8W of green beams, each. The 5 or 6 arial foggers did a good job of bringing out the beams as the wind was relatively still. Almost too good of a job, as where I was sitting, the graphics screen was at times completely washed out by the bright fans emanating from the satellite projectors. The show, ending with 'Proud to be an American' Was the perfect end to a perfect night at the fair. A bit thank you! to the sponsors that made the show possible.
