Getting crazy of the windows errors

Many times i get that windows does not regonise the usb hardware when connecting the riya. then after 10 disconnects, connects to random usb ports on my notebook it starts the work again.

a restart doent work either.

Is there a solution to this?

I'm out of ideas, you probably should contact RIYA directly. Here is their website:

You're in luck! Tonight I came across a Lite unit that was doing this occasionally and went to investigate. It turns out the USB connector was malformed, with at least one of the pins sunk below the surrounding plastic housing. If you look straight down the end of the USB connector, you should be able to see the 4 golden USB pins sticking up just a bit from the plastic encasement. If you don't, this is probably the problem and a replacement cable/end connector will solve it. Let RIYA know this, and they can provide the best repair options.
